AXA Leisure Breaks Terms and Conditions


The following Terms and Conditions for AXA Leisure Breaks provide information on pricing, booking periods, exclusion policies and cancellation policies. Our FAQ section also provides additional information on the most frequently asked questions.

Terms and Conditions - General
Hotel Breaks - €99 pps / £69 pps 4-Star Hotel Breaks - €109 / £75 pps B&B Hotel Breaks - €75 / £55 pps Special promotional prices for this offer:

Booking Period; 11th April 2010 to 31st of July. 2010 - Special promotional price of €65 pps, which is valid for stays up to the 31st of Aug. 2010. Deposit of €20.45 is payable when booking a break and the balance of €109.55 is payable directly to the hotel. Changes or Transfers to your booking can only be made between the 11th of April 2010 and the 31st of July 2010 only. There is an adminstration fee of €20.45 for each room transfer.

Room Only Hotel Breaks - Special Offer - €49 / £39 One Night Hotel Breaks Holiday Home Breaks - €299 / £210 per break 5-Night Hotel Breaks - €159 / €179 pps for 5 nights B&B Golf Hotel Breaks Booking your tee-time

The golf hotel you selected will contact you to arrange your tee-time. Tee-times are on the day of arrival in the case of a 1-night golf break and on the second day in the case of a 2-night break. If you do not hear from your hotel within 72 hours of booking your break, please contact the hotel directly.

All tee-times are arranged between you and the golf hotel. If you require additional rounds of golf or services, you can book directly with the golf hotel at your own cost, subject to availability.

Your round of golf can only be taken during your break and cannot, in total or in part, be carried forward or passed on, nor can any refund or partial refund be given.

In the event that your chosen golf course is closed preventing you from playing your round of golf during your stay, an evening meal from the hotel's table d'hôte menu will be offered in lieu.

Credit Card / Laser Card A booking deposit is required at the time of booking. The booking deposit payment can be made by either Credit Card, Maestro Card or Laser Card (note: Maestro Card is only accepted for customers in Northern Ireland).

Balance of Hotel Break is to be paid directly to the hotel on check-out.

The booking deposit, which is included in the price and a payment card processing fee of €3.00 - €5.00 (£2.10 - £3.50) per room booked, will be charged to your card. The balance of the break is payable directly to the hotel on departure. For holiday homes, full payment is taken at booking and for cruiser breaks; payment is taken by the cruiser provider approximately 3 days after booking. 'AXA Hotel Breaks' will appear as a debit on your statement.

Cheque Payments

You can book your Leisure Break via our call centre and then pay the full amount by cheque within 3 working days of the booking.

Cheques must be in the currency of the location of your break in all cases (e.g. a break in London must be paid for by a sterling cheque and a break in Dublin must be paid for by a Euro cheque).

Important:

If full payment via cheque is not received within the 3 working days of your booking being made, your break will be cancelled.

Cheque payments are not permitted if the arrival date is within 14 days of booking (30 days for Holiday Home Breaks). Bookings for arrival dates inside 14 days of the check in date must pay a deposit using a Credit or Laser Card.

AXA Insurance and its promotional agent Loyaltybuild are not responsible for any delays in relation to payment receipt for which it has no direct control.

Please note that full payment will be required for all holiday home bookings when paid by Laser / Credit Card or by cheque.

In the unlikely event that you encounter any service issues during your break, please inform the hotel during your stay, so that every opportunity is made to rectify any issues.
